Celebrating my boyfriend's birthday was great. Its weird, I feel like I'm married to him :0 but its a good kind of weird. My mother and I got him clothes, and I will be paying for his Otakon membership :] His aunt and uncle are so sweet...I was doodling on the dinner mat, and his uncle and aunt were amazed at what I drew. A girl with interesting pigtails, a bow and a cape :] His aunt, Kristen, loved the eyes especially. I asked James, "You want to take her home?" and he's all, "What am I gonna do with her, you keep it?"
me:I'm not gonna do anything with it..
James: I could hang it on my wall..
Me: A wall? I know my drawings are fridge-worthy, but not wall-worthy...

At the end of the night, his aunt asked how the picture looked and I let her take a look and her eyes were beaming. I told her, if she wanted it, she could have it. And she was so happy, and said "I'm gonna frame this and hang it on my wall"
She actually folded it nicely, like it was delicate..I thought I'd get teary-eyed >_>;; I know I'm not the best artist out there, but it was very touching...and hell, inspiring..I really want to improve my drawing skills more...
